It's a New Year/New Decade

A new year, a fresh start unearths a bounty of driven excitement ready to be harvested. This stirs within a new found energy and purposeful sensation.

I was reading a blog post by John Piper on New Year’s resolution, and what I discovered most enlightening is when he mentioned one should not say “i will do this or I will not do that” but instead, to resolve an understanding of those actions/thoughts that you must do or not do. Be available and prepared for when God moves in you to begin X or quit doing X. To me, this is liberating to be reminded that if I do not have a detailed list with all the answers and know exactly how the plan should work…it’s ok! God will guide. He will be there to say to do or do not to that in the perfect time. For that I am thankful and choose to live in his guidance today/this year.

For 2020 is surely one to be humbly expectant and hopeful for many good things to come. Projects, people, places to visit and deadlines to meet. For I am thrilled to begin a new season, one that naturally and seamlessly infuses the idea of fulfilled promise of life and hope amidst the springing of new growth. Speaking of new life, Caleb and I have out heart set to have another child this year if God so allows that for us. We will begin the IVF process again covered with much prayer and encouragement from our family thankfully. I have found my calling as a mother, I absolutely love my child and can’t wait to bestow another dose of love to the next. For my heart is pure and ready. I genuinely look forward to growing our family and having much laughter and playtime around the house. I dream of the days they will help me in the garden and get their little hands dirty from childlike fun. I do want these days to last and they have yet to begun!

2020 is also possibly a year of shifting and/or transitioning in our real estate career slightly to focus upon the investment side of our business. We are investigating what it would take to build cabins on Petit Jean Mt for VRBO and duplexes in Morrilton area. We are also thinking of land for ourselves for future up here on Crow Mt. Caleb is still currently the broker at Morrilton Moore and Co. Realtors and it seems to be remaining that way or a while. He is surely learning how to lead and manage people and transactions. We have scheduled regular family meetings with the whole Moore immediate family to get all our minds together for a common goal. But one thing is for sure, when the minds and hearts get together we are unstoppable and determined. What that goal is yet is still undecided. We have plenty to do this year to prepare for our future whatever it may be exactly. I have future future dreams to grow Moore and Co. Realtors and possibly add a design side, coffee and bakery and a home shoppe. This is my dream. We shall see! 2020 here comes me!
